PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SPOKANE POLICE DEPT: At approximately 6:08 Thursday morning the Spokane Police Department received a call that two vehicles had collided with one another. The vehicles were described as a red truck and a white truck. Preliminary investigation indicates that the initial contact between the vehicles took place in the area of Main and Division.

The Spokane Police Officer pursued the red truck which turned right on Indiana and pulled into the Salvation Army parking lot (204 E. Indiana). Several Spokane Police vehicles attempted to box in the red truck in the parking lot. Officers gave repeated verbal commands to the driver of the red truck.
