SPOKANE, Wash. -

SWX Beat Clicks is a new daily aggregation and collection of links, posts and overall information about things we think you, the viewer, will care about. We'll try to put as much in here as we can, every day, without overloading you with too much stuff. This is where we will preview events that are yet to come, recap games that just happened, and if we find something quirky that we think is click-worthy, we'll share if with you.

Enjoy.

Apparently the folks at NIKE forgot to use their spell-check when they made this Seahawks Sweatshirt. A TV station in Pittsburgh -- of all places -- pointed the error out to NIKE, and NIKE subsequently issued a statement, saying, "A small quantity of Seattle Seahawks hoodies had an error and were recently made available for sale. We have removed them from sale and apologize for the error."

The Mariners have lost four straight and currently own a 59-71 record, good for 14 games back of the A.L. wild card. In a bit of good news, Tacoma Rainiers broadcaster Mike Curto reports on his blog that catcher Mike Zunino is expected to begin a rehab assignment tonight when they face Salt Lake. Zunino last played with the Mariners On July 25 in an 8-2 win against the Twins, where he broke his hamate bone on his left hand in the process of hitting an RBI single.

We put together an awesome slideshow with 40+ pictures of the action as NASCAR returned to Spokane. Check it out -- Reed Schmitt did some great work.

The Spokane Indians are off tonight -- they return to action tomorrow with a three-game homestand versus Everett -- but there was a bit of news to come out last night, as the team announced its 2014 regular season schedule. Dustin Toms writes that "A full promotional schedule and game times will be announced in the spring of 2014," and that a wide variety of season ticket packages are now available.

SWX reporter John Collett wrote a brief piece yesterday recapping the news out of Buffalo, in which Bills head coach announced that Jeff Tuel is in line to start week 1 versus the Patriots on Sept. 8. Tuel, an undrafted rookie, would be the first undrafted free agent rookie quarterback to start a season opener since at least 1950, reports Gil Brandt of NFL.com.

Bill Barnwell of ESPN's Grantland.com wrote a humorous piece on the website about Tuel and what it means for the Buffalo Bills.

Reviewing OOTP '15, Mariners Still Break Hearts in Baseball Video Game

This lengthy build-up leads me to one sincere question: Did the 2001 season doom the Seattle Mariners franchise? If the M's had won the World Series that year, would we be talking about a dynasty? Out of the Park Baseball 15 allows baseball fans to answer that question.
