Here are six things you need to know about Eastern Washington's upcoming game against Western Oregon:

1) 9-6-1

Western Oregon actually leads the all-time series 9-6-1, although the Eagles have won the last four. Most recently, the Eagles took it to the Wolves 35-14 in 2009.

2) 6-5

Finishing just over .500, Western Oregon had a moderately successful 2012 season. They were 6-4 in conference.

3) 2

The Wolves will play two quarterbacks this season -- and possibly this game -- according to the team's pre-game story. Ryan Bergman and Trey Shimabukuro split time at the position last year, and figure to do the same this year.

4) 78

Vernon Adams gained 78 yards on Eastern's 75-yard game-winning drive. What? That doesn't make sense. Well, thanks to penalties, a player can gain more yards on a single drive than the entire length of the drive. Way to go, Vern.

5) 37-of-42

Kicking field goals has not been an issue for the Eagles the last couple years, as evidence by the success rate above. Since 2011, Eagles kickers have made over 88% of kicks attempted, and the three field goals made by senior Kevin Miller were a big part of EWU's upset of Oregon St.

6) 625

That's how many total yards the Eagles had in their win last week, most since a 626-yard effort versus McNeese State in the 2007 FCS playoffs. Can they surpass that? They can, but I'd bet against it.

Game time is Saturday, Sept. 7 at 4:05 p.m. on the inferno at Roos Field.
