Idaho Set For Home Opener With Northern Illinois

Posted: Updated:
MOSCOW, Idaho -

Football season is here and this weekend for the first time in 2013 the Idaho Vandals will be taking the field in Moscow. The Vandals game tomorrow against Northern Illinois will be the first home game for head coach Paul Petrino.

Northern Illinois comes into this season following last year's impressive run to the Orange Bowl. As many football fans know the Orange Bowl is one of the top 5 most prestigious bowls in college football. Kickoff is at 2 p.m.

We were able to catch up with some members of the band and cheer squad who were preparing for a halftime show and they said that this year will be different because their show will be done together, not separately. The band and cheer squad have been practicing everyday for three weeks.
