Man Found Dead In Park Outside Mullan Identified

The Shoshone County Prosecutor's office has identified the man found dead in Shoshone Park just outside Mullan, Idaho, on September 8th as Kendall Quinnell, 36, of Montana.

Idaho State Police are investigating his death as a homicide; however, very few details surrounding the case have been released.

The Shoshone County Sheriff's Office originally responded to the report of the man found dead on September 8th and the coroner was called in to remove his body.

An official autopsy report is still pending and investigators will not comment as to how Quinnell died or whether they have any leads on who may have killed him.

All inquiries into the death are being directed to Shoshone County Prosecutor Keisha Oxendine, who wrote in a press release Tuesday "additional information will be made available as the case information progresses."

KHQ is working to learn more about Quinnell and whether he has any ties to the small town of Mullan.  Stay here for new information as it comes in.
