Seahawks No. 2 In Week 4 AP Pro32 Poll

Posted: Updated:
SEATTLE, Wash. - According to the weekly poll as voted on by AP NFL panelists, the Seattle Seahawks held firm at No. 2 after a 45-17 beatdown of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jaguars rank No. 32 for the third consecutive week.

Peyton Manning and his Denver Broncos remain the No. 1 team, fresh off a 37-21 win over the Oakland Raiders on Monday Night Football. The Broncos received eight of 11 possible first-place votes, with the Seahawks garnering the other three.

Falling nine spots to No. 12 are the San Francisco 49ers, who were thoroughly outplayed in a 21-7 home loss to Indianapolis. Niners quarterback Colin Kaepernick was limited to 170 total yards in the defeat, completing just 13 of 27 passes and throwing an interception.

The Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams rank No. 22 and 23, respectively.

Just three weeks into the season, Seattle already owns a two-game lead on the division. Seattle is 3-0 and Arizona, St. Louis and San Francisco are all 1-2.
