Blue Mountain Triumphs Over Spokane 3-1

SPOKANE, Wash. - Blue Mountain Community College won at Spokane in four sets Wednesday night, 25-22, 25-16, 23-25, 25-14.

Spokane fell to 17-8 overall and 2-1 in league play. Blue Mountain improved to 23-1 and 4-0 in league play.

The Timberwolves were led by Crystal Schmidt and Kendra DeHoog, who had 16 and 13 kills, respectively. Setting them up was Samantha Odren, who totaled a game-high 42 assists in the win.

Spokane's Dana Norris led the Sasquatch with 13 kills. Jenna Widman was second on the team with 12, and Madison Zinsli had 41 assists.

Spokane is back on SWX-TV October 16 when it will host Walla Walla.
