Excerpts From A Confession Letter

Writer May Be Kenan Adams-Kinard

The following are excerpts from a letter obtained by police shortly after murder suspect Kenan Adams-Kinard was taken into custody. Kinard's lawyers say he didn't write it, and the letter appears to have been written by a girl. The excerpts below are exactly as they were written. Spelling errors were not fixed by KHQ:

"I called Shorty off a pay phone, he told me to meet him at the ice arena. It was the first time I ever met him. I was meeting him to get a zip of crack. I just wanted to get the s*** and move on my way. I stopped at Lwes to use the bathroom. After that I went to the ice arena, I saw Shorty, I got into the passenger seat. He handed me the bag, I gave him his money."

"I called Shorty, he told me to meet him at the ice arena. It was the first time I ever met him."

"My intintions were to get a rip of crack and be on my way. I stopped at Lowes to use the bathroom. Then went to the ice arena to meet Shorty."

"When I got there I seen him parked, I got in the passenger spot and he handed me the bag, so I gave him the money."

"I got out the car, looked at the sack, and stuck my head back in and said ‘how much is this'. He pushed my face and said ‘go' so I went to the driver side asked him to give me my money back."

"He said ‘F*** that' so I proceded to sock him. I opend the door through him in the back of the car, he screamed for help so I socked him two more times. I took his wallet, and another ounce of crack from his pocket. He was unconscious so I made sure he was still breathing, and then I took off."
