A WSU football player was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with assault after an apparent locker room fight with a teammate.

Pullman Radio is reporting that 18-year-old Defensive Lineman Emmitt Su'a-Kalio was involved in a locker room fight on Tuesday that left another unidentified player with a broken jaw. Su'a-Kalio was brought to the police station on Thursday by WSU Police and booked for felony assault.

The Whitman County Jail confirms that Su'a-Kalio was released Friday morning on his own recognizance. The WSU football team is already on its way to Berkley to face the Cal Bears on Saturday.
