Chiefs Outlast Silvertips 1-0 In OT

EVERETT, Wash. -

Chiefs center Liam Stewart scored an overtime goal with 2:54 remaining, lifting Spokane to a 1-0 win the Silvertips Saturday night at Comcast Arena in Everett, Wash.

Mitch Holmberg assisted on Stewart's second goal of the season.

The Chiefs moved to 5-1-0-0 thanks to goalie Eric Williams' 31-save performance, his first shutout of the year.

After road games in Portland and Everett, the Chiefs come back to Spokane to host Kelowna at the Arena on October 8.
