Halloween Forecast Update:

Thursday: AM rain showers in the lower elevations, seeing some snow in the mountains, but all models indicate drying conditions after Noon today. In fact by the time trick-or-treaters take to the streets around Spokane it should be drying and even seeing partial clearing. High: 50° (Green)

Thursday Night: Partial clearing overnight tonight, but with the moisture from this morning, fog is expected tonight/tomorrow morning, especially in the northern valleys. Low: 33° (Green)

Friday: Patchy morning fog then partly sunny skies after the fog clears. Forecast looks to stay dry for Friday Night Football activities. But expecting another Fall storm to start moving in early Saturday morning. High: 51° (Green)

OMAK, Wash. - I can picture the Austin Powers bit now.  The people of Omak looking up at the sky and seeing a giant (Fill in the blank innuendo here) just like in 1999's Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. If you're unfamiliar, I'll save you a Google search.  A simple, yet effectively funny joke.  Except the U.S. Navy doesn't see humor in the real-life version at all.
