DNA Identifies Suspect In Three Spokane 1990 Killings

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Police say DNA technology has identified a suspect in the 1990 shooting deaths of three prostitutes in Spokane.
    
Cold case detectives are recommending that prosecutors fire murder charges against 61-year-old Donna Perry who is in a federal prison in Texas in a firearms case.
    
The Spokesman-Review reports (http://is.gd/ciIPpi) Perry was previously known as Douglas Perry and underwent gender reassignment surgery in 2000.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Update: Spokane Police Department SWAT Team officers took a homicide suspect into custody following an afternoon shooting in downtown Spokane. That suspect was identified as 27-year-old Joel C. Taitch. He was found blocks away from the crime scene and booked for 2nd degree murder.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says a video doorbell captured the woman running up to the door of the home in Spring dragging the boy by his arm, ringing the doorbell and knocking several times.
