Spokane Shooting Suspect CAPTURED In California

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SPOKANE POLICE DEPT: On Thursday morning Davon J. Henderson, the suspect wanted for a drive-by shooting occurring on 10/15/13 in Spokane on E. Joseph, was arrested in Riverside, California.  

Henderson was identified by Spokane Police detectives as the suspect in this incident, in part because of a citizen tip involving the report of a reckless driver.  

This arrest demonstrates the importance of citizen tips. If you are reporting a crime in progress, please call 911. If you are reporting a crime that has previously occurred, please call Crime Check, 456-2233.

Spokane Police have identified a suspect in a drive-by shooting that happened on October 15th in the 2900 block of E. Joseph near the Hillyard Aquatic Center. 

Police are searching for 27-year-old Davon Henderson. He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.

Spokane Police were called to a home in Hillyard Tuesday night after someone was shot in the arm.

Police say that two men were involved in some sort of confrontation near the intersection of N. Regal and E. Joseph. At some point, the driver of a car shot the victim who was standing in the street. The victim was shot in the arm and we are told his injuries are not life threatening.  

The investigation is ongoing, but right now police say it does not appear to be gang related. 

Police are still searching for a suspect, but do not believe the community is at risk. 

The suspect vehicle is described as being a black 90's car with black wheels. No make or model was given. No description of the suspect was available.

    BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Almost two years after a toddler disappeared during a camping trip with his family, investigators plan to return to the campsite to search for new evidence.  Lemhi County Sheriff Steve Penner told KTVB-TV last week that deputies will return to the campground outside of Leadore, Idaho once the weather improves.
