Wroten In History

Philadelphia 76ers guard, Tony Wroten, made history on Wednesday night when his number was called to start in place of injured rookie sensation Michael Carter-Williams. No one, probably including Wroten, knew it was going to be a historic night when the Sixers took to the court to play the Houston Rockets.

Wroten became the first National Basketball Association player to ever record a triple-double in his first career start. He scored 18 points, added 11 assists and racked up 10 rebounds on a night where no one really noticed.

James Anderson hit a three-pointer, off of Wroten's pass, late in the game to force overtime. Anderson scored a career-high 36 points in the win for Philadelphia, going 6-of-8 from downtown.

Jeremy Lin restarted the "Linsanity" for the Rockets when he scored 34 points, tying a franchise record with nine treys made in a game, and added 12 assists and 5 boards in his best game so far in the young season.

All things considered it was a quiet night for Wroten. When MCW is ready to return, Wroten will definitely be back on the bench where he had spent all 43 games of his career, before last night. But at the end of the day, he will have a record that most likely will never be broken.

Reviewing OOTP '15, Mariners Still Break Hearts in Baseball Video Game

This lengthy build-up leads me to one sincere question: Did the 2001 season doom the Seattle Mariners franchise? If the M's had won the World Series that year, would we be talking about a dynasty? Out of the Park Baseball 15 allows baseball fans to answer that question.
