SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -

UPDATE: The suspect remains on the loose, we'll post more details as we get them.

PRESS RELEASE: On Friday Spokane Valley Sheriff's Deputies responded to a robbery call at the Tilt arcade located in the Spokane Valley Mall.

Deputies contacted the employee who told them at about 10:00 p.m. he was closing the business. He said a white male, wearing a dark hoodie, blue jeans, in his late twenties to early thirties, pointed either a rifle or shotgun at his chest and demanded money.

The employee said the suspect had a white kerchief over his face and left in an unknown direction of travel. Sheriff's Deputies evacuated the neighboring movie theatre for safety purposes, but were not able to locate the suspect.

The suspect resembled the description of the suspect from a robbery at Zip Trip on Trent earlier this week. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anyone providing information leading to an arrest in this incident.

Persons with information should call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-222-TIPS, or should forward the tip via the Internet website www.crimestoppersinlandnorthwest.org. Tipsters do not have to give their name to collect the cash reward.

Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest is a civilian organization that promotes public safety by paying cash rewards for information that solves crimes. It is not affiliated with law enforcement.

UPDATE:

Police officers from multiple agencies responded to the Spokane Valley Mall Friday night after a man robbed the arcade at gun point.

Spokane Valley Police say the man robbed the arcade with a rifle and then fled the scene. Deputies immediately evacuated the mall, including the movie theater next to the arcade.

A perimeter was set up while police searched for the suspect, but so far he has not been located. We are told he was a white man in his 20's wearing a black coat and a white bandana over his face, with a medium build.

Right now police are looking through security footage to get a better description. Hundreds of people seeing movies had to leave the theater while deputies cleared each theater. Moviegoers were given a voucher to return and see their movies at another time. As soon as we get any additional information, we will update this story.
