SPD Major Crimes Detectives Investigate Fatal Auto/Pedestrian Accident

SPOKANE, Wash. -

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SPOKANE POLICE DEPT: Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives are investigating a fatal auto/pedestrian collision that occurred Saturday morning near the intersection of North Foothills Drive and Pittsburgh. At this time detectives believe this was an accident, however they will continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Just after 9:45 Saturday morning, Spokane Police received a report of an auto/pedestrian collision involving a male and one vehicle. The involved truck was found nearly a block away, still running. The involved male was pronounced dead at the scene.

Major Crimes Detectives will continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, however at this time they believe this was a tragic accident.
