Santa Express: Retail Store For Kids Shopping For Mom And Dad

SPOKANE, Wash. - A Christmas tradition for the past 22 years, The Santa Express in downtown Spokane. Its a place where kids ages 4 through 12 can come in and pick out the best gifts for mom and dad.

Prices for gifts range from 50 cents to 8 dollars and  all proceeds from sales go to help the Vanessa Behan Nursery Crisis Center give the children in their care diapers, formula, food, and clothes. Last year 3 thousand kids bought things from their parents Christmas list, raising 80 thousand dollars to help children in need. In the last few years, parents brought their kids in during winter break but this year kids will still be in school while the store is open and workers hope that won't stop you from coming in for a gift that gives back to the community.
This year the store is open until December 23 and there are over 30 thousand items to choose from.  Hours of operation are Saturday from 10am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm. Its located on 707 West Main on the corner of Wall Street in downtown Spokane.
