Zag Women's Basketball 24th In Associated Press Top 25

SPOKANE, Wash. – (December 2, 2013 – www.GoZags.com) After its 50-point victory over Colgate University Saturday, the Gonzaga University women's basketball team received 20 additional votes in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and stand in 24th.

 

The Bulldogs garnered 125 votes Monday to hold the 24th spot; six and seven votes behind 23rd place Texas A&M and 22nd place Syracuse University, respectively.

 

The University of Connecticut – who is a perfect 9-0 on the season – once again is in first place with 900 total votes.

 

The Bulldogs Dec. 14 opponent Stanford University is ranked sixth with a 7-1 mark and 737 votes.

 

Gonzaga, 4-1 on the year, hosts Fairfield University Monday at 6 p.m.
