Spokane Police Seeking 'Person Of Interest' In U.S. Bank Robbery

Spokane Police are searching for a "person of interest" they believe may be involved in a robbery that occurred on the 3900 block of North Lincoln Friday morning. SPOKANE, Wash. - Friday morning just after 10am, Spokane Police responded to an armed robbery at the US Bank on N. Lincoln.

The search for the two robbers sent Willard Elementary into lock down, but police say no students were ever in any danger. At 11:30 Friday morning, Spokane Police called off the K9 search for these two robbers.

Police did find a bag of money that the robbers dropped in an alley near the bank, but so far they haven't found the robbers themselves.Police say the two men walked into the bank and indicated they had a gun, although they never actually showed one.

The robbers are described as black men in the mid-20s. They were wearing ski masks during the robbery.

    SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - A male suspect has died after being involved in a police shooting following a standoff situation in Spokane Valley Sunday morning. Police say the matter originated as a vandalism call after a man pulled into a gas station and began breaking windows in a vehicle. They later found the male to be armed and possibly suicidal, leading to a standoff at Trent and Evergreen where he was barricaded in the vehicle.

    LEWISVILLE, Texas  - Police in Texas say a man fatally stabbed his 16-month-old son and was shot in the leg by a neighbor who tried to stop the attack. The stabbing was reported Sunday afternoon in the courtyard of an apartment complex in Lewisville, about 20 miles northwest of Dallas. Lewisville Police Capt. Jesse Hunter says the toddler was rushed to a hospital but later died from his wounds.
