SPOKANE, Wash. - The Mount Spokane Ski Patrol is committed to skier safety and education, and to providing the finest first aid care possible to the guests of Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park. Look for one of the red jackets wherever you slide. The Mount Spokane Ski Patrol is one of the largest all-volunteer ski patrols in the country and also one of the first, being formed in 1938.

Their patrollers are trained to the highest standards set by the National Ski Patrol system. Each patroller must undergo over 120 hours of classroom, hands-on, and on-the-hill training for initial certification, plus annual refresher training sessions, and hands-on training throughout the season. The MSSP has alpine & telemark skiers, snowboarders, student patrollers, and non-skiing patrollers, plus a nordic patrol for Mount Spokane State Park nordic ski area.

The Ski Swap is the primary source of funding for the Mount Spokane Ski Patrol, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Funding for operations, purchase of medical and first aid supplies, rescue equipment, and training materials is made possible by your donations and proceeds from the annual Ski Swap. Please Contact Us for more information on making a donation to the Mt. Spokane Ski Patrol.
