UPDATE: Driver Killed In Crash On Hwy. 95 Identified

UPDATE: The driver killed on Thursday has been identified as 61-year-old Darrel C. Kirking of Post Falls, Idaho. The crash is under investigation.

UPDATE:
We're learning that a driver heading southbound on Hwy. 95 drifted into the northbound lanes hitting a vehicle. The northbound driver was killed. The southbound driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The lanes that were shutdown have since been re-opened. At this hour we're awaiting the identity of the deceased victim.

UPDATE: A person has been killed in the crash on Hwy. 95 in Bonner County south of Sandpoint. At this hour we're awaiting the identity of the victim. Keep checking back to this web channel for updates.

KHQ.COM - Highway 95 in Bonner County at milepost 467 south of Sandpoint is down to one lane due to a crash. We spoke with Idaho State Police and they could not give us any information on injuries. More details to come.
