SPOKANE, Wash. -

KHQ.COM - Spokane police arrested 19-year-old Jahvory Kinard Thursday morning at a home on the lower South Hill. Police have charged Kinard with 1st degree robbery and 1st degree assault.

On January 3rd police say Kinard met a woman at a North Spokane Wendy's parking lot to make a drug deal. Police say the exchange was for $900 dollars in prescription pain pills. According to court documents Kinard tried to rob the woman, she fought back and that's when police say Kinard shot the woman multiple times.

Shortly after police say the woman drove to another nearby fast food business where her friend transported her to the hospital. KHQ's Dylan Wohlenhaus learned Thursday afternoon that Jahvory is the older brother of Kenan Adams-Kinard.

Kenan, alongside Demetrius Glenn were both arrested and charged with murdering 88-year old WWII veteran Delbert Belton last August. Police have continued to call this a random beating. However Glenn and Adams-Kinard claim they were buying drugs from Belton. Jahvory will be in a Spokane county court room Friday to face formal charges.
