Can the 12th man set of seismograph equipment like the last time it did when the Saints came to town for the playoffs? Can the 12th man set of seismograph equipment like the last time it did when the Saints came to town for the playoffs?
The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network has posted two portable seismic stations at CenturyLink Field in anticipation of another Beast Mode run that set off other local seismograph equipment when Marshawn Lynch burst off for the unreal 67-yard run that earned him the nickname the last time the Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints met up in the playoffs three years ago.

The two PNSM stations on site and a third one south of the stadium will try to capture any earthquake-like activity during the game.

"We hope to learn a little bit more about how the seismic waves travel through the area, and in this case seismic waves generated by the 12th Man," Bill Steele of the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network told MyNorthwest.com. "Here we have an earthquake we know is going to happen beforehand so we can set up some instrumentation and record it from within the earthquake itself essentially, and then compare that to instruments nearby."

You can see if the "12th Man" can cause the PNSM sensors to record an earthquake here: http://www.pnsn.org/seahawks
