Shopko Pharmacy Robbed Sunday Night; Suspect On The Loose

    KHQ.COM - On Saturday, January 4th, 2014, at about 3:30 p.m., Spokane County Sheriff's Deputy Tim Greenfield responded to Sav-On Pharmacy inside of the Albertson's store at 12312 N. Division on a robbery call.>>
    KHQ.COM - On Saturday, January 4th, 2014, at about 3:30 p.m., Spokane County Sheriff's Deputy Tim Greenfield responded to Sav-On Pharmacy inside of the Albertson's store at 12312 N. Division on a robbery call. The pharmacist told Deputy Greenfield that at about 3:30 p.m. a white female, in her late twenties to early thirties, 5'5" and a medium build, walked up to the counter and demanded oxycodone.>>
SPOKANE, Wash. - Shopko Pharmacy in the 9500 block of North Newport Highway just after 6 p.m. Sunday night. Spokane Police say a man walked into the store and demanded prescription medication. No weapon was shown during the robbery. The suspect fled the scene on foot heading east of the store. The K-9 Unit was called to the scene but was unable to track down the suspect. 

Police describe the suspect as a white male about 5'8 to 5'10. He was wearing a black winter coat with a hood and black pants. He's possibly in his mid-20's and he's got light face stubble.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Troopers are investigating an auto-ped fatal crash on I-90 eastbound near mile post 280. A 59 year old man was crossing I-90 when he was hit by a pick up truck. He died on the scene. Police say the driver does not appear at fault and don't believe drugs or alcohol played a factor.
