SPOKANE, Wash. -

Spokane Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at the 7-11 near Washington and Indiana Wednesday night.

Police say that at about 8:30pm a man walked in the store and grabbed three quarts of oil. As he tried to leave with oil, a clerk confronted the man and that's when the suspect pulled out a black handgun and pointed it at the clerk. Rather than take any money, the suspect left the store with the oil.

The suspect then ran around to the back of the store and got into an early 2000's metallic silver or gold colored Chevy Impala with a spoiler.

Police say the suspect was a white man, 5'7", medium build, wearing a black jacket with a hood and a baseball cap.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
