Adams Live From CenturyLink Field: Part 3

So that happened.

The NFC Championship matchup we wanted exceeded expectations. A nailbiting finish capped off by a Colin Kaepernick pass into the end zone, tipped and then plucked out of thin air for a game clinching interception.

Before the game, I had the privilege of having a pregame lunch with 49ers hero Dwight Clark. I thought to myself, "we might just see another 'Catch' type moment." Little did I know that a pass that had "Catch" written all over it would turn into "The Pick."

Postgame highlights for me included the obvious fireworks, confetti, and obligatory postgame celebration. But for me, what stands out, is the impromptu moments. Pete Carroll running down the sidelines high-fiving fans (a la Cal Ripken), Macklemore geeking out like any other fan out there, and Russell Okung pointing to the 12th Man, expressing his heartfelt thanks for their support.

Alright, I need to take a deep breath. My ears are ringing from the stadium, and the locker room celebration. But we all know it's not going to get any quieter for another two weeks.

See you in New York.

Reviewing OOTP '15, Mariners Still Break Hearts in Baseball Video Game

This lengthy build-up leads me to one sincere question: Did the 2001 season doom the Seattle Mariners franchise? If the M's had won the World Series that year, would we be talking about a dynasty? Out of the Park Baseball 15 allows baseball fans to answer that question.
