SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Shock have traded defensive back Patrick Stoudamire to the Portland Thunder in exchange for future considerations.

Stoudamire spent the last two seasons with the Shock recording 74 tackles, two fumble recoveries and six interceptions. Prior to his time with the Shock, Stoudamire spent one season with the Iowa Barnstormers where he totaled 48 tackles and four interceptions. Stoudamire spent his four-year college career with the Western Illinois Fighting Leathernecks, tallying 134 tackles and nine interceptions.

Stoudamire played his high school career at Centennial High School in Gresham, Ore. which is just outside of Portland.

In a separate release: Fullback and offensive lineman Will Falakiseni has been placed on retirement by the Spokane Shock.

Falakiseni appeared in 18 games for the Shock in 2013, 17 of which he started at fullback. In four rushing attempts last season he recorded 13 yards and one touchdown. Prior to joining the Shock for his rookie AFL season in 2013, he spent time with the IFL's Tri-Cities Fever.

“Will is a great guy, a great football player and was a fantastic part of our team last year. He decided about a month ago that it was time to stop playing football as he wants to stay closer to his family down in California,” Shock Head Coach Andy Olson said. “We wish him the best in whatever comes his way in the future.”
