Dylan Parker's Body Found; Awaiting Autopsy Results

SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho - UPDATE: At this hour we're awaiting the autopsy results, we'll post more details when we get them.

The grandmother of Dylan Parker told KHQ Local News Reporter Gabe Cohen on Tuesday that Dylan's body was found along Two Mile Gulch Road, just north of the home where he was last seen on January 11th. 

The grandmother said 2 people on ATVs were looking for Dylan on Monday night when one of the ATVs wrecked. On Tuesday, those searchers went back to the scene of the crash to retrieve the ATV and found Dylan's body there. The grandmother didn't have any information on how Dylan may have died. The grandmother also stated that Dylan's family doesn't want to make a statement at this time. 

The Shoshone County Sheriff's Office issued a press release just after 5:00pm on Tuesday confirming that the body found Tuesday morning was in face Dylan Parker. Their investigation will now focus on finding the cause of death and trying to determine how Dylan reached that location. The release stated that an autopsy will be conducted in the next few days.

    A professor in Tennessee has a solution for a student who missed class after she couldn't find someone to babysit her 3-year-old girl: Just bring the child to class.      The Knoxville News Sentinel reports Professor Sally Hunter at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville emailed Morgan King that she would be "absolutely delighted" to hold King's daughter, Korbin, while teaching class.

    BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Department of Lands has auctioned 14 lots along Payette Lake for more than $7.8 million.  Officials said Friday that two of the lots had competitive bidding, where the current lessees lost to the winning bidders. Those lots sold for a combined $54,500 over appraised value - winning bidders must pay the lessees for the appraised value of their cabins and other improvements.
