This week Spokane is hosting the 2014 USA Boxing National Championships at the HUB and Northern Quest Resort and Casino. The 2004 Olympic gold medalist in the light heavyweight division, Andre Ward, is serving as an ambassador for USA Boxing and joined SWX's Michelle Dapper in studio to talk discuss the event. 

The 6-foot-1, 168-pound Oakland native has remained undefeated (26-0, 14 knockouts) for his entire professional career, which he embarked out on in December of 2004 after he joined the ranks of Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Oscar De La Hoya as U.S.  Olympic gold medalist.

Ward now sits second on the pound-for-pound list, behind only Floyd Mayweather Jr. Ward also serves as a commentator for HBO while he is not training for his next bout.
