Williams Save Lifts Spokane Past Ams In Shootout

The Spokane Chiefs defeated the Tri-City Americans 2-1 in shootout fashion thanks to Eric Williams making the game-winning save at the sold out Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday, Jan. 25. 

Reid Gow's first period goal for the Chiefs and Brian Williams third period goal for the Ams was all she wrote in regulation and overtime with the 1-1 tie leading to the shootout. 

Mitch Holmberg, Hudson Elynuik and Mike Aviani all netted shootout goals past Eric Comrie. The Winnepeg Jets draftee finished with 35 saves on 36 attempts throughout regulation and overtime.

Parker Bowles and Brian Williams were able to beat Eric Williams before he saved Lucas Nickles final attempt to secure the win.
