RIGHT NOW: Bonners Ferry Teen In Critical Condition After Head On Collision

BOUNDARY COUNTY, Idaho - 18-year-old Kelsey Shutes is in critical condition at Kootenai Medical Center after  being involved in a head on collision Saturday night on US95 near MP 518 in Boundary County. 

According to Idaho State Police, Shutes was driving northbound when her car went left of center, hitting a pickup truck driven by 46-year-old Gerald Palmer. Palmer and his passenger 29-year-old Samantha Palmer were taken to Boundary Community Hospital with injuries. 

Shutes is a cheerleader on the Bonners Ferry Cheerleading Team and was heading home from the State Cheerleading Competition when the tragic wreck happened.
