Josh Winquist scored two goals, including the game winner early in the third period, to lift the Everett Silvertips to a 3-2 win over the Spokane Chiefs Sunday night in Everett. It was Spokane's second loss in 8 days to the Silvertips as Spokane now leads the season series 6-2.

Everett took a 1-0 lead after one on Matt Pufahl's 5 on 3 power play goal at 14:20 of the first. Everett out shot the Chiefs 13-5 in the first, going 1-4 on the power play. Spokane had a chance to even the game with a 5 on 3 advantage the final 1:04 of the period, but failed to score. Winquist would give the Silvertips a 2-1 lead after two with his first of the night at 17:15 of the second.

Winquist would score his second of the night and third goal in the last two games vs. Spokane with a goal just 2 minutes into the third period to make it 3-1 Everett.
