    SPOKANE, Wash. - Recent single digit temperatures, combined with inches of snowfall have created a flood warning for many counties in eastern Washington and northern Idaho, and as the sun came out and the mercury rose this week, much of that snow began melting, causing flooding around the area. Today: A weak storm system moved through early this morning, producing mostly rain showers, as it continues to track east, we again clear up behind this storm. Mostly sunny skies again by this afternoon. Winds stay breezy between 15-20mph. High: 44° (Green)

Tonight: The next strong storm front makes it's way over the Cascades around midnight. Chance of snow for northern valleys near the Canadian Border. Mostly rain &/or wet snow mixed in everywhere else. 1-2" of snow possible for those northern valleys through tomorrow morning. Low: 33° (Yellow)

Friday: Strong warm front reaches Spokane between 5-6am. Some wet snow may mix in with mostly rain showers. Expect similar conditions to the storm Monday. Showers possible through much of the morning before finally pushing east by early afternoon. Winds will again pick up to 20-30mph. High: 43° (Yellow)

    SPOKANE, Wash. - A man walked into a Zip Trip gas station brandishing a hand gun and stole cash Monday night, according to Spokane Police.The robbery happened at about 10:30 p.m. at the Zip Trip on East Illinois Avenue, just north of where Perry Street intersects with Illinois. Spokane Police say the man walked in and showed employees the handgun. >>

    ALTA LAKE, Wash. - "John Neuneker Sr. built almost everything on his property with his own two hands, including the home in which he and his wife Laurie raised their four children.“It was a family thing,” Neuneker told KHQ. “Not just my wife. My kids, all of us chipped in. We built the whole thing ourselves.” Their log cabin was one of many things Neuneker lost in the Carlton Complex Fire.>>
