February 24, 2014 was a big day for snowfall in our area, and much like any other major weather or news event, we can always count on our viewers to keep us updated on what is happening in Inland Northwest. We received plenty of phone calls and emails about current road conditions, and of course a lot of pictures throughout the day as the snow fell. Thank you to all of our loyal viewers who helped us keep you updated.

    PULLMAN, Wash. - Pullman Police say at around 4:30 pm, officers responded to the Aspen Village Apartments to check on the welfare of Washington State University football player Tyler Hilinski after he did not show up for practice earlier in the day. Officers arrived and found 21-year-old Hilinski deceased in the apartment with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

    CLATSOP COUNTY, Ore. - A salmon fisherman who abandoned ship by leaping into the Columbia river last summer, right before another boat crashed into his, is suing the other boat driver for $372,000. The Oregonian reports that the Clatsop County sheriff's office accused Marlin Lee Larson of several crimes after the boater told investigators he couldn't see where he was driving because the dash of his boat was blocking his view when he was sitting down.
