KHQ.COM - There’s a good chance you might recognize this week’s Friday Fugitives. KHQ has covered their story before. Jan and Jeffrey Hickerson are wanted for animal cruelty charges. Last November, SCRAPS seized 63 horses from the Hickerson’s property near Airway Heights. SCRAPS said the horses were starved and neglected, but Jan Hickerson told KHQ her ranch provided care for horses that were already starved and neglected. November marked the second time in four months that SCRAPS seized horses from the Hickerson property. In July, it rescued 25 horses from the Hickersons.

The charges have been mounting and now the Hickersons have disappeared. Crime Stoppers needs your help finding them. Jan is known to go by an alias. She has four warrants out for her arrest, including first-degree animal cruelty, which includes inflicting physical pain and death upon an animal.

If you know where the Hickersons are hiding out, investigators want to hear from you right now. If you know where they are call 1-800-222-TIPS. Jan is 48 years old. She’s 5 feet 6 inches and 210 pounds. Jeffrey is 65 years old. He is 6 foot 4 inches and 230 pounds. He has one warrant out for first-degree animal cruelty. Tipsters are eligible for a cash reward and can remain anonymous.
