Spokane Police Searching For Safeway Robbery Suspect

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Major Crimes Detectives are looking for a man who robbed the Safeway on W. Northwest Blvd early Friday morning and threatened to shoot an employee. 

Police say the man entered the store at about 1:00am and began stealing items. The man began to walk out of the store and was confronted by an employee, and that's when the suspect threatened to shoot the employee. No weapon was actually seen. He then fled on foot. Officers were on scene within two minutes of the initial call and attempted to track the suspect using a K-9, but were unsuccessful. 

Witnesses told police the man was black, in his 30's, about 5'7" with a medium build. Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police have arrested a juvenile in connection to a fatal shooting in downtown Spokane on Tuesday, according to our partners at The Spokesman Review.  The boy, whose name and age have not been released, is facing a charge of 2nd Degree Manslaughter.  Police believe the juvenile shot and killed a man inside a parked car near Washington and Spokane Falls Blvd.
