SAN BRUNO, Calif. –  (March 3, 2014 –) The West Coast Conference announced its annual basketball awards Monday afternoon and Gonzaga University women's basketball head coach Kelly Graves was tabbed the West Coast Conference Coach of the Year, senior Haiden Palmer and junior Sunny Greinacher were tabbed to the All-WCC team, and Jazmine Redmon garnered All-WCC honorable mention accolades.

Graves, who earned the Coach of the Year honor for the eighth time and second-straight year, directed Gonzaga to another outstanding season culminating in its unprecedented 10th straight regular season championship with a 16-2 league record. The Bulldogs collected their first preseason top-25 ranking this season and were cracked at least one of the two major polls 16 of 18 weeks. Along the way, the Bulldogs posted an unblemished 16-0 home record to go along with a 13-game winning streak. Graves ranks second in WCC Basketball history – men and women – with eight total Coach of the Year nods. Gonzaga men's head coach Mark Few has nine.

Palmer, the 2012 Newcomer of the Year and 2013 WCC Tournament Most Valuable Player, earned a spot on the All-WCC squad for the second-consecutive year after averaging a team-best 16.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game, along with 3.1 assists in league play. Her steals average led the WCC and her points and rebounds averages were ninth-highest. Palmer scored double-figures in all but three league games, had four 20-plus point games, including two 30-plus point contests.

This is Greinacher's first year on the All-WCC squad. The forward was named to the All-Freshman team in 2012 and earned All-WCC honorable mention last season. Over the 18 league games, Greinacher averaged 10.9 points and 4.8 rebounds, while shooting an impressive 48.7 percent (75-of-154) from the field and 75.4 percent (46-of-61) at the charity stripe. She recently capped off the WCC season breaking a career-high; scoring 24 points in the Zags win over Pacific Saturday.

This too is Redmon's first year on the All-WCC Team. The guard, who was named the 2013 Defensive Player of the Year, saw action in 16 of 18 league games – after an injury held her out of two. She averaged 5.2 points, 2.1 rebounds, a team-best 2.9 assists, along with 2.4 steals per game in league play.

Rounding out the individual honors with Graves was BYU's Jennifer Hamson who was tabbed both the WCC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year and the University of the Pacific's KiKi Moore who garnered WCC Newcomer of the Year.
