Today: Steady rain at times through the morning...then a brief break around Spokane from the wet weather this afternoon. Rain showers could continue through much of the day for the Palouse and Southern Panhandle. More wet weather moving again by this evening. High: 48°

Tonight: The next storm moves in right on the heels of this first one. It will bring periods of moderate to heavy rain overnight tonight and into Thursday morning. Heaviest rain looks to fall from south to north across the Panhandle, but most of the Inland Empire will be receiving rain. Low: 39°

Tomorrow: Rain becoming scattered showers tomorrow morning before the NEXT storm system moves in Thursday afternoon. Winds also start to pick up Thursday afternoon and evening. The long and short of it...it's going to be a wet 48 hours! High: 50°

Flood Watches remain in effect for several counties in the Inland Northwest. Look for sharp rises in some area streams and rivers. Also the possibility of standing water/urban flooding due to clogged storm drains.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - A Spokane woman is speaking out after she was dragged about 20 feet by a car, and nearly run over, after purse snatching. Kathy Kohlieber broke her pelvis and had to be sent to Multicare Valley Hospital. She’s been there since the incident Saturday evening around 5 p.m. Kathy says she went to Walmart, “to get a bag of Cosmos caramel corn, which is so good.”

    PULLMAN, Wash. - Following the loss of Washington State quarterback Tyler Hilinski, business in the Pullman area are coming together for a good cause.  Several Pullman restaurants, bars and coffee shops are participating in the Dine Out for #3 event on Tuesday, Feb. 20, in an effort to start a conversation about suicide prevention, raise awareness and reduce the stigma associated with mental illness, including depression.
