WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – Washington State guards Lia Galdeira and Tia Presley were both named to the 15-member All-Pac-12 Team as voted on by the Pac-12 coaches, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Galdeira and Presley are the first Cougar teammates to earn All-Conference honors in the same season in program history and it is Washington State’s first All-Conference selection since Tricia Lamb in 1998-99. Galdeira also received All-Defensive Team honorable mention for the second consecutive year.

Galdeira picks up her fourth and fifth career all-conference accolades after also receiving All-Pac-12 honorable mention and a spot on the All-Freshmen team last season. The sophomore guard finished the regular season second on the team and ninth in the Pac-12 in scoring at 17.7 ppg after posting nine 20-point efforts. Galdeira was second in the league with 73 steals and led WSU with 54 made 3-pointers, currently tied for fifth-most in school single-season history. During conference play, Galdeira led the Pac-12 with 47 steals and was again ninth in scoring at 17.6 ppg.

Presley earns her second career all-conference honor after receiving All-Pac-12 honorable mention last season. The junior guard heads into the Pac-12 Tournament leading the Cougars and sixth in the conference in scoring at 18.9 ppg after posting 12 20-point efforts including four 30-point performances. Presley paces WSU in shooting percentage (.444), is second in steals (54) and third in assists (54). Her 212 free throw attempts are second-most in the Pac-12 and her 151 made free throws are third-most in the league. The Spokane, Wash. native had her first two years cut short with season-ending injuries but bounced back with one of the best offensive seasons in program history, tallying 568 points, the third-highest total in WSU single-season history. Presley recorded three 30-point efforts in conference play, two coming in consecutive road wins over Utah and Colorado that earned her Pac-12 Player of the Week honors, and the other coming in the home win over Oregon in the regular season home finale.

The Cougars face the University of Oregon Thursday in the opening round of the Pac-12 Conference Tournament at KeyArena in Seattle. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m. on the Pac-12 Networks.
