Teen Killed in Car Accident Remembered on Social Media

Posted: Updated:

"Love the people who treat you right. Think good thoughts for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy," tweeted Samantha Snipes, the CMR senior killed in an car accident Thursday morning.

It seems that Samantha's short life was very happy and she was able to touch a number of people.

"She was just my best friend. We told each other everything. We worked together, and we sang together. She was just my go to person. She was my backbone. I'm gonna miss her a lot," said Kirsten Kreutz, a close friend of Samantha.

The senior at CMR high school was active on the softball team and in the choir.

"I played softball with her, and we ran cross country. She was my close friend since 8th grade and we grew up since then. Just her smile and everything about her was so perfect. She is going to be greatly missed. I can't believe this happened, but I can tell how many people love her and really care about her," said close friend, Sagelby Vernon.

Samantha was set to graduate in June and planned to attend MSU in the fall where she wanted to pursue a degree in nursing.

"She was heading to MSU. She wanted to be a nurse. So we are just really sad for the family and her friends and the rest of the people here that knew her," said Patti Ashmore, a CMR counselor.

Sadly, Samantha's dreams were cut short Thursday morning when a car accident took her life, but she left a message on her twitter account for those mourning her loss of life.

"Its crazy how someone can just leave your world in a blink of an eye and is gone forever and U can only be sad for as long as a flower lives," tweeted Samantha.
