LOOK AT THE PHOTOS: SkyFest To Soar Again At Fairchild

Fairchild AFB, Wash. - After a 4 year absence, SkyFest will be returning to Fairchild Air Force Base this summer, and on Monday Fairchild released a sneak peek at what will be on display both in the air and on the ground this year. 

Headlining the event will be the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute team. Aircraft to be displayed on the ground will be a B-1, a T-38, a T-6, an F-15E, a UH-1, a KC-135, a C-17, a C-130, and a KC-10. This is only a partial roster and organizers are working on a finalized list to be released soon. 

SkyFest will take place on May 31st and June 1st, and the tentative schedule is to open the airfield at 9:00am both days with performances beginning at noon.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Two families are still left shocked after they say someone sprayed their dogs with pepper spray. This happened on Saturday night around 9 p.m. near Hays Park. Eric Eitzman says he was inside his home when he heard his dog and his neighbor’s dogs start barking. He opened the door and his dog ran inside. That’s when his daughter grabbed the dog and said she smelled.

    ROSALIA, Wash. - Washington State Patrol reports one person is dead after a crash on Highway 195 Saturday night.  It happened around 10:30 p.m. about one mile south of Rosalia. Troopers say a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer driven by 36-year-old Joshua J.Kenyon was northbound on 195 and a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven 37-year-old Angela C. Pressnal, was headed southbound on the highway.

The Spokesman-Review reports that a jury on Friday found former Spokane County Sheriff's jailer Donald B. Henderson guilty of stealing roughly $650,000 from the Social Security Administration and the Department of Veteran Affairs for more than a decade.
