SPD Investigates Robberies, Crimestoppers Reward Offered

SPOKANE, Wash.- Vehicle of interest is described as a maroon or burgundy PT Cruiser.


SPOKANE, Wash.- Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives are investigating eight robberies that have occurred in the City of Spokane within the past month. As part of this investigation, multiple detectives are assigned to work on these cases. Detectives are investigating a possible relationship between the incidents.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anyone providing information leading to an arrest in these incidents. Persons with information should call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-222-TIPS, or should forward the tip via the Internet website www.crimestoppersinlandnorthwest.org. Tipsters do not have to give their name to collect the cash reward.

Robbery Date and Time:  2/17/2014, 6:37 am
Address: 1717 W. Garland

Suspect Description: White man in his late 20s, approximately 6’0” tall, with light colored hair and a “baby face.”
Suspect implied he had a gun, however none was seen.

Address: 2135 W. Northwest Blvd

Suspect Description: White man age 25-29, approximately 5’ 10” tall, with blonde or red hair and a medium build. Suspect displayed a black handgun.

Suspect Description: White man in his 20s, approximately 5’ 7” tall.
Suspect displayed a black handgun

Suspect Description: White man in his 30s, approximately 5’ 10” tall, with a goatee.
Witness reported seeing something shiny in the suspect’s hand

Suspect Description: White man, age 20-25, approximately 5’ 7” tall, approximately 140 lbs., with a light build.
Suspect displayed a handgun.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - The collision on SR 291 near mile post 9 is now fatal according to Sacred Heart Hospital.A 17 year old female was driving in a four car sedan that was in the northbound lane going southbound when it struck the motorcycle head on.62 year old Robert White was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. He was wearing a helmet.>>
