Reports Of Fire Causes Emergency Plane Landing At Spokane International Airport

SPOKANE, Wash.- It was a scary night at the Spokane International Airport Friday evening.

A FedEx DC-10 plane took off from Spokane at about 7:30 and was 40 miles away from the airport when an indicator detected smoke or flames in the cargo hold.

The plane circled back and landed back at the airport, landing a few minutes after eight o'clock.

Emergency responders say there were no flames found on board.

All crew members are confimred safe.
