    COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Police continue to investigate a double homicide that happened Monday night in Coeur d'Alene, and saw a 46-year-old father and a 13-year-old boy murdered.>>
    COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Police continue to investigate a double homicide that happened Monday night in Coeur d'Alene, and saw a 46-year-old father and a 13-year-old boy murdered. On Wednesday, detectives returned to the house to search for more evidence but they could not reveal if anything pertinent was found.>>
UPDATE: COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Coeur d'Alene Police Detectives have identified victims in the March 24th shooting at 1311 N. 1st St. as 46-year-old Eldon Gail Samuels Jr. and 13-year-old Jonathan Samuel.

Detectives arrested Eldon G. Samuel III, 14, for two counts of 1st Degree Murder. He used a handgun, shotgun, knife and machete in the attack on his father and brother

The suspect, Eldon Samuel III, has been charged as an adult and is currently confined at the Kootenai County Public Safety Building.

Both of the victims and the suspect had recently relocated to Coeur d'Alene from California.

No further information is being released at this time.

PREVIOUS STORY:
Coeur d'Alene Police say two people are dead following a shooting in the 1300 block of N. 1st St. on Monday night.

Officers were called to the scene at around 9:30pm.

Detectives have not identified who the victims are, but Sgt. Christie Wood says a suspect is in custody.

Police left the scene around 6:15am. 1311 N. 1st St., the home where the shooting took place, is still surrounded by crime tape.

KHQ's Allison Flicker spoke with the executive director of St. Vincent de Paul shelters, which is right around the corner from the home where the shooting occurred, and he said the small family that was living in this home was a part of their shelter services. He said they were a quiet family but cannot release their identification because police are still investigating.
