Former Washington State University assistant basketball coach under Tony Bennett and current assistant under Bennett at the University of Virginia, Ron Sanchez, speaks with SWX's Neil Stover about everything from the Cavalier's post-season run to who he feels the Cougs need in charge to bring the same level of success both school's have found with Bennett.

Sanchez played at the State University of New York- Oneonta, where he was the Eastern College Athletic Conference Player of the Year. He later became an assistant coach at SUNY- Oneonta before moving on to Delhi College (NY) and Indiana before joining WSU as the coordinator for men's basketball operations for three seasons. Then after three years as an assistant coach at WSU under Bennett, Sanchez followed him and has spent the last five campaigns as part of Bennett's staff at Virginia.
