KENNEWICK, WA - You're feeling chest pain, you think you might be having a heart attacks so you call 911. Now, it's even easier to get proper care if that happens to you.

Trios Health is named a Level I Cardiac Center by the State Emergency Cardiac and Stroke System. That means they have the right services that patients need for heart trouble, 24-7.

"It's very important that patients are treated very quickly. So, if you have a heart attack here in Kennewick, say at Wal Mart, in the past you had to go to another hospital further away. Now we can come here and it can be quicker for the patient's care," said Chief Nursing Officer, Diane Sanders.

Trios Health has been working towards this accreditation for more than a year. This is also helpful for rural areas like Hermiston and Walla Walla. Trios Health is now the closest Level I Center for them.
