This week's all star is a self-identified science geek. Kamiakin's Brandon Boehnke dreams of going into biochemistry or medicine.

"I'm in A.P. Chemistry, got my interest. Don't know what it is, I'm a science geek. I like science. Also in anatomy and physiology, like that a lot," says Boehnke.

And that doesn't leave much time for homework, but he still pulls a 3.7 G.P.A.

"Hard, 2-hour practice everyday along with my A.P. classes, don't have much free time but I tend to get it all together," says Boehnke.

But when he's on the field, he becomes a leader for the braves, even as a junior.

"Trying to be a good leader, communication is a big thing. So when you go down a goal everybody drops their heads, want to keep pushing, don't let it discourage you. Like to be a communicative leader," says Boehnke.
