KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho - The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office is searching for a 25-year-old man who became violent at a party in Athol Saturday night and began hitting people with a handgun.

The Sheriff's Department says Terry Andrew Clark was at a party in the area of Old Highway 95 and Brunner Road, just south of Athol when for unknown reasons he became violent with other people at the party. Witnesses tell deputies that Clark began hitting people with a handgun, sending four victims to the hospital. All of the victims had serious injuries to their faces, and surgery had to be performed on at least one person.

By the time deputies arrived at the party, most of the people had left, including Clark. Witnesses told deputies Clark fled the area on foot. Deputies say a firearm was recovered at the scene.

Detectives have obtained a felony warrant for Clark's arrest on four counts of Aggravated Battery. Detectives say Clark may be driving either a black 1996 Cadillac Eldorado (Idaho plate K401606) or a 1998 red Pontiac Grand Am (Idaho plate K545681). The Sheriff's Office says Clark may be hiding in the Newport, Washington area.

Detectives are asking anyone else who was at the party and witnessed any of the attacks, or anyone who knows Clark's whereabouts to call the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office and ask for Detective Northrup. If you see him, do not approach him, as he is considered dangerous.
