KENNEWICK, WA - A partnership between the Tri-Cities Cancer Center and Xtreme Beauty, a salon in Pasco, is offering cancer patients a monthly giveaway.

Delores Groce helped pick the first recipients on Thursday. It is a giveaway that her grandson, Lawrence, says is close to his heart. Delores is actually battling cancer.

"I was raised by both my grandparents. They helped me so much. I thought the easiest thing would be to give back because I know so many people that have been affected by cancer in my family," said Lawrence Groce, the owner of Xtreme Beauty and Xtreme T-shirts and Apparel.

"One of the things that we focus on, is making sure that we serve all the patient's needs. And one of those is combating the outward effects of cancer and making sure that they still feel beautiful and they feel normal and they can get back to where they were before treatment. So, having a great wig or cool t-shirt that's blinged out, I just think it does so much for people's spirits," said Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation Director, Elizabeth McLaughlin.

The giveaways will happen every month. One t-shirt and one wig. Wigs can cost up to $500.

Any patient at the Cancer Center can put their name in the drawing.
