REPORT FROM KHQ's Dylan Wohlenhaus:

SPOKANE, Wash. - KHQ's Dylan Wohlenhaus spoke with the 44-year-old bouncer Todd Stone. Stone says that he's worked at Lions Lair bar for two and a half years and has never had a "bruise" or a "scratch" from dealing with unruly patrons in his time working there. Thursday morning was different he says.

Police say around 1:45 AM Stone and bar workers were closing up the bar. Stone says the two suspects were in the bar before the shooting and Stone kicked them out. Police say the two suspects came back and targeted Stone by firing two gunshots through an outside window. Stone says one bullet hit him in the leg and the other grazed his stomach. He was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released several hours later.

Stone has a full time job but has worked at the Lions Lair as a bouncer for extra cash. Stone says about 20 people were inside the bar when the shots were fired through the window. Earlier in the night, Stone says the two men were asked to leave the bar. Around bar close he told them they were not allowed back in because they were causing trouble. Stone says as he walked back in the bar thats when the shots were fired. Stone says he feels very lucky to be alive.

Police are looking for two suspects, both described as black males who they say are involved. The first is 5'10'" wearing jeans and a black hoodie, the second has dreadlocks with white and blue beads. Detectives would like anyone with information to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

UPDATE: We now know the identity of the man who was working as a bouncer at the Lion's Lair Bar when he was shot in the leg just before 2am Thursday morning after throwing two people out of the bar.

His name is Todd Stone and he has posted a comment about the incident on his Facebook page. His post reads:

"In case some of you hadn't heard, I was shot last night as we were closing up the bar. The shooter shot me with a .45 and got me in the leg. I'm good, and they missed anything vital in my leg. The shooter shot at me twice. I was grazed by one bullet [in the stomach] and [the other bullet] hit me in the right leg.

We hope to find these two guys quickly."

Stone said there were about 20 people in the bar when the two shots were fired through the front window.
